Book Review #22 - The Seven Epaulettes of Leadership by Shawn Abrams
Good Day,
The Seven Epaulettes of Leadership
by Shawn Abrams
After reading the book to completion, my idea for the word leadership has changed. The author has lucidly written the book and very minute details of the term leadership and the roles a leader has to play. After reading the book I am sure that it will surely enhance the leadership qualities as this is not just another self-help book it focusses on emotional and mental comfort zones.
One of the quotes which I like about the book is "People don't quit the job they quit the management". This book contained very helpful examples, exercises which will certainly help you to become a better person, in turn, making you aa better leader to be suited for the problems you will be facing as a leader. It also covers the topic of mentoring.
Writing style and language used by the author are not very tough to comprehend. Once I started reading the book I was not able to keep it down. Topics are very well segregated in different chapters.
