Animal Farm by George Orwell George Orwell has yet again pinpointed the oppressive nature of mankind and also shown its reckless desire of subjugating inferior beings in his book 'Animal Farm'. Story: An Alcoholic Farmer named Mr Jones of Manor Farm is shown to exploit his farm animals by compelling them to do his chores which the animals felt were a superfluity. Conditions at the farm were getting worse as Mr Jones was dealing with his problem of alcoholism. His men were very indolent, they completed the work which enthralled them, it resulted in animals left unfed, crops were not taken care of etc. Farm animals were not able to bear this injustice any longer and pigs instigated a rebellion.
